Net Preamble

The following is the preamble for the weekly ARES net:

QST, QST, QST calling the Arlington County Net. Net control station for this evening is ________. My name is __________, and I am located at ________________________. The Arlington County Net meets every Tuesday except the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM local time on 145.47 megahertz and is sponsored by the Arlington Amateur Radio Emergency Service, and the Arlington Amateur Radio Club. The purpose of this net is to practice net procedures for use in emergency situations, and to keep the amateur community informed of ham radio activities in and around Arlington County. The club meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM at the Arlington Chapter of the American Red Cross, 4333 Arlington Boulevard. All stations are invited to participate in tonight’s net.
