At the May 17 Meeting of the Arlington Amateur Radio Club, business items to be discussed include options for rehosting the W4WVP web site and related matters, such as domain registration, email reflectors, and secure login for roster access. Among other things, we hope to arrange for more storage space and avoid bandwidth throttling. We'll also do a little early planning for Field Day, and more.
The program will feature K9AUC's report and demonstration of progress in setting up a WinLink email station in the Red Cross radio room using his own IC-706, portable computer, and AMTOR modem, and W4WVP's 80/40m dipole on 40m. Jim plans to start setting up in the afternoon on May 17, and he'll tell us and show us how far he got at the meeting. Maybe we can help.
Activities Chair Alan, KO4ALA, will postpone screening the rest of the ARRL video, Everything You Wanted to Know About Antennas, But Were Afraid to Ask, until the June meeting.Possibly Treasurer Mike, KG4RKL, will distribute Field Day 2005 T-shirts and pins to those who ordered them, and will be glad to redeem IOUs. If OUMike, bring $12.95 for each T-shirt and $5 for each pin ordered on credit. You could look this suave:

These will likely be discussed further at the ARRL's July meeting. No major action in these areas is expected until the NPRM for `Restructuring' is finalized.
A discussion of Arlington ARES and RACES followed. Jack will follow-up with the appropriate public officials to be sure that there is no confusion.
