The April 15th meeting of the Arlington Amateur Radio Club will be held at the usual time (1930L) and place (4333 Arlington Blvd).

Emergency Management

wa4fxx- kb3kky looking for additional ops for DC National marathon. Anybody who can do that (Sat. 29th) email him.

Gary- kc5qcn- Saturday May 10th- annual military-amateur crossband test. Pentagon ARC will be using callsign WAR. Looking for volunteers. 8am-8pm at Pentagon. Trying to get volunteers for 1 or 2 hours.

Field Day June 28th- never too early to start planning!

wa4fxx- Travis from Red Cross trying to have get-together to show off the pieces that he has. Originally scheduled for 29th, then postponed due to marathon. April 12th new date. He'll get van together and get lunch for everybody.

wb4akk- weekdays at 7:15 digital net. Chip64 mode. 3.578.5 audio is USB (audio 1300 hz above that). Software from iz8bly.

WA4FXX: VAQP- sorry we couldn't open the station.

wa4fxx operated a little, 20-25 contacts. Some from home, some from nn3si.

nw3v- only made a few contacts. lots of activity on 80m saturday night. last year 4 qso on 80 got 1st place arlington 80m.

wg4m- made 15 for the whole contest on 80m from home. quick trip to warren county. 2nd qso was with w4art.

ai4qb- lots of driving, a little talking. Made contacts with others in 24 counties, from 23 counties.

wa4fxx- remember to put "Arlington ARC" as the club so w4wvp gets credit.

repeater- transmitter & power supply has been installed [applause]. Thanks to w4art and n8ysz for getting it done, ai4go for helping test. wa4fxx showed coverage maps with various options of HT, mobile, wattages. Need to get beep turned back on, not sure what the status of timeouts is.

wa4fxx- sent coverage maps via mailing list, got hung up.

ai4qb- will look in to it.

New Business

wa4fxx- got a web application. From ki4zwt. Em Mgmt professional.

ai4qb- invited to meeting, no response.

wa4fxx- Field Day 3 months away.

ki4dtp- red cross thinking about something like the skywarn day.
