Field Day rocked at W4WVP! Thanks to Lew, WB4YGX, and Prentiss, K4PDJ, for the photos montaged above. We ranked 2 in class 8F.
At busy operating positions, we used a tweaked WB6ZQZ's FDLOG, revision 1.146, software. The program, and associated help menu files, are in this .zip archive. This software runs on Linux, OS X, and Windows, but requires python; it works on python versions 2.2 through 2.5 and requires the python-tk module, aka tkinter.
The following summary is based on partially corrected log entries with a few residual errors, for example, bad section IDs. Nevertheless, it is a fairly good summary of the on-the-air activity at W4WVP during Field Day 2008:
